Mr. Alfred W. Helmke, Sr. born, August 31 1917 in Guadalupe Co. Tx. Passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at the age of 88 years. He will be remembered as a loving family man who enjoyed hunting, fishing and rising cattle. Alfred is survived by: wife, Barbara Falor Helmke; sons and daughters-in-law, Alfred W. Helmke, Jr. and Liz and Lloyd Helmke and Janey; daughter and son-in-law Frances Stanley and bill; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will begin Friday, April 8, 2005 at Brookehill Funeral Home Chapel at 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2005 at Brookehill Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at San Jose Burial Park, Service entrusted to Brookehill Funeral Home.

Frances A. Stanley, 78, of Conroe went to be with her Lord Tuesday, October 3, 2017. She was born Friday, August 25, 1939 to Alfred and Barbara Helmke. Frances is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill Stanley, Daughters; Brenda Appelt, Judy Stanley, Barbara Stanley, 9 Grandchildren; Laura McFarland, Billy Landry, Denise Littlefield, Michelle Rawls, Kassie Wilson, Bruce Lenamond, Erica Gillioun, Eric Heitman & Maria Heitman, 17 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild and many other relatives & friends. A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 18 from 5 PM to 8 PM at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Thursday, October 19 at Rosewood Funeral Home in Porter. Interment will follow at 2:15 PM at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, TX.
