DELIVERED TO HIS WIFE IN A BARREL
Mrs. Nancy Falor was amazed when her husband of a week, Elwood Falor, Seattle Freight truck driver, was delivered to her in a barrel, but she gave him a great big kiss anyway, after Carl Martin, Falor's fellow-employe (sic) wheeled him off a truck to the loading platform at a Seattle department store where the bride works. Friends of Falor "captured" him while he was at work in Tacoma, nailed him in the hogshead and shipped him to his bride as a wedding prank.

James' birth is announced: Merlin Falor is one of Delta's new proud dads - and the poetic bee has stung him to the following extent: thought at first we'd call him Pete, so his name would rhyme with 'heat;' but as our 'burners' have constant flames, we reconsidered and called him James. We'll have more help coming summer, for James is sure to be a plumber. Why, this thing sounds like an ad, but I can't help it…I'm his dad!
